“Exploring Outer Space”
Children and accompanying adults journey through our solar system
and beyond in this hour-long interactive power point presentation.
Audiences imagine how they would prepare for a voyage through outer
space and discover many of the wonders that they would witness in
their journey to the stars.
Movements and interactions of planets, moons, asteroids, comets, meteors,
and other celestial bodies are demonstrated with mobile models, and
questions and comments are welcome throughout the presentation. Handouts
with activities and resources for learning about the universe are
made available at the conclusion of the program.
John has presented engaging summer reading program events with both
music and nature themes at libraries throughout Massachusetts and
