Performance Experience

  • Member of Journey Home offering bedside sings for hospice patients and their families in western Massachusetts (2014-Present)
  • Vocalist and multi-instrumentalist presenting programs featuring popular music from the first half of the twentieth century for audiences of all ages at libraries, historical societies, schools, senior centers, long term care residences and other venues throughout New England (1977-Present)
  • Founder/Leader/Arranger of Swingtime Quartet and Swingtime Sextet, performing at dances, schools, weddings, summer concerts, and other venues throughout New England (1990-2010)
  • Founder/Leader of Pioneer Valley Jazz Society, organizing regular open jam sessions for musicians in the Pioneer Valley area (1984-2002)
  • Founder/Arranger of Pioneer Valley Jazz Society Big Band, performing original compositions for live and televised concerts (1998-2000)
  • Producer of “Dancing with the Duke” featuring the music of Duke Ellington with Swingtime Sextet and the Hooked on Swing Society for broadcast by Amherst Community Television (1996)
